Salted cheese pie
200 g cream cheese
600 g cheese (sheep, cow or buffalo)
50 g yellow cheese
300 ml cooking cream
250 ml of milk
This recipe can be made with any type of cheese you like. Ideally, choose a hard cheese, so that you can grate it easily.
Begin by preparing the cheese mixture: In a bowl, grate the cheese and the yellow cheese and add 200 ml of cooking cream. Mix until the composition becomes creamy.
Take the pie sheets and divide them into four equal parts – about 3-4 sheets / roll. With a brush, spread 2 tablespoons of cream cheese, in a thin layer, on the top sheet. In order to form a roll, take one quarter of the composition of the cheese and spread it in the form of a roll over the pie sheet. Then roll the 3-4 leafs.
Do the same with the remaining sheets until you have four rolls, then put them in a pan that you previously greased with butter.
Pour milk over the rolls. Mix the egg yolks with the remaining cooking cream and brush the composition on the pie rolls.
Bake for 30-35 minutes at 180C until they become golden! They can be served both hot and cold!
