Mushrooms and yellow cheese roll is a delicious appetizer that can be served anytime!
In a saucepan place the dough ingredients – milk, salt, flour and oil. You should dissolve the flour into milk to avoid lumps forming . Stir continuously until the mixture reaches a thick consistency. After it cools add the 4 egg yolks and mix. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks are formed and incorporate in the mixture mentioned above.
Place the mixture into an oven tray lined with baking sheet. Bake the dough for 25-30 minutes in preheated oven at 180.
Shred the onion with a kitchen robot and cook it for 2-3 minutes in olive oil mixed with butter. After the 2 minutes put over the onion the sliced mushrooms and season it with salt and pepper. When ready, add the chopped dill.
When dough is ready turn it over on another baking sheet, put half of the grated cheese, the mushrooms and the rest of the cheese over the mushrooms.
Roll it tightly with the help of the baking paper and leave it in the refrigerator for several hours before slicing. You can serve it as an appetizer for Christmas dinner!
