Banana and chocolate waffles
125 grams butter
150 grams flour
75 grams sugar
75 ml of milk
a sachet baking powder
For the sauce:
100 gr dark chocolate (I used one with orange bits)
1 cube butter
40 ml milk (amount may vary depending on the texture you want the sauce to have)
Melt the butter into the milk and separate the eggs. Put the egg yolks into butter mixture and add the milk and vanilla.
The second mixture:
Put the flour into a bowl, add the baking powder and make a hollow in the center.
The first mixture (the one with milk) is poured into the second mixture.
Beat the egg whites with the sugar. Add to the above mentioned mixture, stir them gently from top to bottom.
Heat the waffles maker, spread melted butter on it and pour the batter with a lagle, so the edges remain free. We leave it for 2-3 minutes (depending on the device used) to cook and then they are ready!
I served them with banana slices and a chocolate syrup made from melted chocolate, some milk and butter.
