Green beans and broccoli
400 gr green beans
1 Tbs of olive oil
4 slices of prosciutto
I think this recipe is one of the fastest side dishes that you can do. The advantage to it is that it tastes great with almost any main dish.
Broccoli is a nutritious vegetable and a good source of both vitamins and minerals, as well as folic acid, calcium, iron and potassium. The researchers found that a cup of cooked broccoli contains 74 mg of calcium and 123 mg of vitamin C. The bottom line is that you have to love this vegetable for all the benefits that it offers us.
Clean the broccoli and cut into small pieces, preferably of the same size. Bring the water to a boil with a little salt and, when it starts to boil, add the pieces of broccoli. Boil for 3 minutes and then leave it to drain.
Preheat the grill and plate the green beans on it. After 1 minute, add and prosciutto. Leave them for about three minutes and then remove them. Cut the Prosciutto into cubes and mix it with the beans. Arrange the vegetables on a platter, add chilli flakes over the broccoli and sprinkle the whole thing with a little olive oil.
And there you have it, a healthy and tasty side dish ! We served it with grilled tuna.
